The challenge
The boom in low-cost air travel has generated a spectacular growth in the amount of tourists arriving daily at the Girona Airport.
The challenge for the Tourist Board consisted in capturing this flow of tourists and directing them to the Costa Brava and Girona’s section of the Pyrenees.
On the other hand, these ever-rising numbers of tourists were planning their trips over the Internet. Spenta Consulting was chosen to redirect the tourism promotion strategy for one of Europe’s most-visited regions to the Internet.
The solution
Spenta Consulting designed a portal incorporating the largest database of tourism resources in the region.
Thanks to a well-thought-out content architecture and navigating system, users can access what they are searching for in just a few mouse clicks.
