Spenta today proudly announced it has been named 2011 Microsoft Public Sector – Government Partner of the Year Award Finalist.
The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. The award will be presented at this year's Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, July 10-14, in Los Angeles.
“It is a great honor for Spenta to be awarded Government Partner of the Year Finalist. This represents the biggest achievement in our history since we were awarded Government Partner of the Year Winner in 2009. Never before a Spanish company has been awarded twice, and this track record recognizes Spenta’s ongoing commitment to innovation, business impact and client satisfaction, and its deep understanding of the government industry,” says Jordi Plana, founder and CEO of Spenta.
“With our contribution around the Connected Government Framework we aim to help Microsoft be successful in transforming Governments all over the world by embracing new Gov2.0 social trends. This is our dream, and dreams drive our company. We’ll keep investing in talented and bright individuals to make it come true,” emphasizes Plana. “I’m sure this award will make our relationship with Microsoft even stronger and let us face bigger challenges together,” he adds.
Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 3,000 entrants amongst 640,000 partners worldwide. Spenta was recognized for providing outstanding innovative solutions based on Microsoft technologies to government customers.
