The Court of Constitutional Law gets modernized

Publishing date: 10/20/2008

The Madrid office has acquired a key project to create the new institutional web page for the Spanish Court of Constitutional Law (http://www.tribunalconstitucional.es).

In the first phase, the portal will focus on the following areas:

• Multi-language content management

• Accessibility (AA)

• Content architecture and user experience

• Advanced searches in the area of jurisprudence (sentences)

• Multimedia content

In addition, the portal aims to kick off a more ambitious project where the Court will be able to provide services to the general public which currently must be done in person such as submitting bids or presenting documents, for example. It will also serve as a point of entry to the Court’s future extranet portal.

The project for the Constitutional Court’s new portal has strengthened Spenta Consulting’s leadership in the development of portals based on Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS), a key tool around which Microsoft is consolidating its business product line.

Spenta Consulting and the Court of Constitutional Law have been collaborating since 2006 on projects such as the portal for the Iberian-American Conference on Constitutional Law.
